Amosite has been a leader in demolition and the removal of hazardous waste and heating systems since 1994. Our highly skilled and professional team specializes in the removal of asbestos, boilers, oil tanks, furnaces and more, from homes and businesses in the GTA and surrounding areas in Ontario.
Our team conducts a Designated Substance Survey (DSS) before any renovation or demolition as required by the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act. Physical samples are taken from multiple locations on site and sent to a professional laboratory for detection of hazardous materials, down to the parts per million.
Amosite crews are dispatched to job sites to remove the hazardous material in a highly safe and efficient manner, from Type 1 to Type 3 abatements. Crews utilize sealed enclosures, negative-air machines, Tyvek suits, and more highly specialized equipment to ensure absolutely zero potentially harmful substances escape to surrounding areas. Air samples are taken after abatement to confirm that no harmful substances have escaped, and the area has been completely cleaned.
We dispose of hazardous materials and equipment in an environmentally-conscious manner at a registered dump site for hazardous goods. All clients are provided with a follow-up report as requested confirming their home, business, or any location is 100% free of hazardous substances.
